Please join us for Summit Suppers at the NC IDEA Ecosystem Summit!
What are Summit Suppers?
These small, curated dinner groups are designed to spark conversation, explore shared challenges, and leave you with fresh ideas and practical insights. You’ll share a meal with fellow #ecosystemers who understand your work, guided by a peer facilitator to keep the discussion engaging and actionable.
Who should join?
If you're attending the Ecosystem Summit, you're invited! Groups will be curated by organization type and interest area to foster meaningful conversation.
Please note: We have a cap of 30 participants, so sign up now if you want to join! Deadline to sign up is November 12 at 5pm.
When is this happening?
Summit Suppers will follow Day 1 of the NC IDEA Ecosystem Summit on Monday, November 17 at 7:00pm.
Where are we meeting and eating?
Reservations for each group will be made at restaurants close to the Summit venue such as Page Road Grill or Lulu BangBang. You are responsible for the cost of your meal.
Who is organizing?
Summit Suppers are an informal and optional complement to the Ecosystem Summit, organized by Tim Scales and Laura Zabinski.
Tim Scales is an entrepreneurial ecosystem builder. He’s played a number of roles within the startup community — from founder to mentor to ecosystem convener — and has built workshops, bootcamps, accelerators, and conferences for early-stage and idea-stage entrepreneurs.
Laura Zabinski is the Executive Director at American Underground, a shared workspace for innovators, creators, and changemakers in downtown Durham, NC. She’s passionate about creating spaces where startup communities can thrive, through thoughtful design, human-centered support, and genuine community spirit.
